Writing Life’s Stories

With Josephine Taylor.

Have you ever wanted to write about your life, or the life of a living loved one or ancestor? Join Josephine to learn how in this eight-week workshop series! Participants will be guided in the writing of memoir, biography and autobiography, bringing their stories to life using creative writing techniques through fun exercises and free writing time.

Note: Each two-hour class comprises two sections: information, examples and exercises, all provided by Josephine; group discussion, free writing and pair-working, with guidance from Josephine.

"Jo's Life Writing Workshop is essential for anyone who has ever wanted to write a memoir or explore the wider territory of life writing. The workshop provided me with guidance and inspiration on a vast array of writing topics such as accessing memories, narrative voice, creating structure and research. The small group environment provided much love and support along the way and Jo's knowledge and skill helped me bring to life the histories of my ancestors. I can- not recommend it enough." Ally Millington. Previous participant.
