Workshop Overview

Have you ever wanted to write about your life, or the life of a living loved one or ancestor? Join Josephine to learn how in this eight-week workshop series! Participants will be guided in the writing of memoir, biography, and autobiography, bringing their stories to life using creative writing techniques through fun exercises and free writing time. As a bonus, project pieces will be gathered in a collection upon completion, creating a keepsake to treasure.

About the Facilitator

Dr Josephine Taylor is a writer and editor and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Writing at Edith Cowan University. Josephine teaches, mentors, facilitates and judges in literary fiction and creative non-fiction, and her creative and critical writing has been published widely. Josephine’s debut novel, Eye of a Rook, published by Fremantle Press in 2021, was an outcome of the Four Centers’ Emerging Writers Program, which she undertook through PCWC as a long-time member. It was subsequently shortlisted in the 2021 WA Premier’s Book Awards.
