Do you have a story to tell based on your own life or family history? How can you capture these unique moments and bring them to life on the page? This workshop provides the tools and encouragement to get started and keep going in a safe and relaxed environment. No previous writing experience is necessary, simply bring along a notepad and pen, together with a sense of curiosity and a lifetime of memories. Suitable for all ages and stages of life.
Rosemary Stevens has a doctorate in creative writing from Curtin University, where she teaches creative and professional writing. She enjoys running memoir, fiction and travel writing workshops in the community, and previously worked as a travel writer in S.E. Asia, and in London for a literary agency and international publishing company. Her fiction and non-fiction works have been published nationally and in South East Asia.

Directions to the Centre: From Lakeside Drive to Deakin Road, enter Car Park 14. There is a visitors parking area, near the Gymnasium and Child Care Centre. Parking is free over weekends.
