Workshops provide writers with the opportunity to share their knowledge and skills with other writers. Have you ever considered facilitating a workshop to share your writing expertise with others? Perhaps you are an experienced workshop facilitator who would like some fresh teaching strategies to enhance your workshops.  PCWC members are invited to join committee member Karen Taylor in this FREE workshop exploring contemporary pedagogies for effective teaching and learning in a workshop setting. You will learn how to design precise learning objectives for your workshop, explore a range of engaging ‘ice-breaker’ activities and contemporary strategies for learning as well as how to accommodate the diverse needs and aspirations in a workshop group.

Karen Taylor is a qualified educator with more than twenty years’ experience teaching Humanities and English at a secondary school level. She has worked as a curriculum leader and a professional practice supervisor of pre-service teachers. Karen is part of the PCWC Emerging Writers Programme and is currently working on her first novel.

$48  Non-members + Eventbrite booking fee $1.45

Bookings open August 10 and close September 7 or when workshop is full.
