Peter Cowan Writers’ Centre Inc.’s memberships run from 1 January to 31 December each year. However, if you are paying after 30 June, the Centre offers pro-rata rates for the remainder of the year. Please see Table 2 for these pro-rata rates.

Please see the section How to Join/Renew Your Membership for payment instructions. The Centre uses Eventbrite as our payment platform. The membership tickets on the platform will always reflect the correct amount of payment for the category of membership you are purchasing.

How to Join/Renew Your Membership
- You can pay your membership at Eventbrite with your credit card (Mastercard/Visa/American Express) or most bank debit cards with the Mastercard or Visa symbol. Eventbrite also offers an option to pay via your Paypal account. but this must be done via the Eventbrite payment platform. PCWC cannot accept payments direct from Paypal. Note: there is a small Eventbrite processing fee for using the Eventbrite service which Eventbrite retains.
To pay, go to Eventbrite HERE. Once you are in Eventbrite on the PCWC page, click on the typewriter image on the event listing ‘2023 PCWC Memberships’, or you can click on the heading itself (2023 PCWC Memberships). When the next screen opens, read the description, then click on the green tab on the RHS marked ‘Tickets’. Note: there are no refunds on PCWC Memberships. - In the next screen, choose the category of membership you wish to pay by changing the quantity from 0 to 1. Then click the red ‘checkout’ button at the bottom of the screen.
- On the next screen complete your details. Please complete all fields marked with a red * including your current e-mail address so you receive confirmation of your payment. After entering your payment details, please complete your name and email address again. Click the red ‘Place your Order’ tab.
- Make sure you record your Order/Ticket No (top of the next screen). It will also be on the e-mail confirmation you receive from Eventbrite. This number MUST be entered onto your Membership Form (see point 5.). If you do not receive the Eventbrite e-mail, please check your e-mail SPAM or Junk folder. If you have still not received the e-mail, please check with PCWC if your membership payment has been processed as the Centre receives notification of each Eventbrite transaction.

- Once your payment has been processed, PCWC will issue your membership card and welcome letter.
