Writing Short Stories: Final Steps – Pitching and submitting your work for publication with Laurie Steed (WSS165)

Saturday April 30th

Laurie SteedThe road to publication is a long and unforgiving one. While it’s always difficult to send one’s work out for submission, it’s vital that certain things are done before doing so. Such things include but are not limited to spelling, grammar, formatting, consistency, and professional presentation.

Thankfully, Dr Laurie Steed has been on both sides of the submission process and is keen to help writers do things better and more efficiently. In this workshop, he’ll go through the various benefits and pitfalls of submission, taking in common mistakes so that you, the writer, can avoid them when sending your work out into the world.
