This workshop will outline the different forms of life writing, and explore how real-life experiences and creative writing techniques can be used to write effective and memorable memoir, autobiography and biography. Participants can bring draft auto/biography, but we will focus mainly on life-writing exercises, with feedback and with tips galore. Participants will discover how much fun it is to write a life!
Josephine Taylor is a writer from Perth, where she holds the following positions: associate editor, Westerly magazine (UWA); adjunct lecturer, Edith Cowan University; and editorial board member, Margaret River Press. Her published work includes short forms of fiction and life-writing, and she is currently writing a novel. Josephine teaches in the areas of creative writing, editing and Australian fiction. Her workshops are informative, vibrant and fun.

Directions to the Centre: From Lakeside Drive to Deakin Road, enter Car Park 14. There is a visitors parking area, near the Gymnasium and Child Care Centre. Parking is free over weekends.
