Writing Memoir, Biography and Autobiography with Josephine Taylor – Code WMBAJT1
In this workshop, Josephine will outline the different forms of life writing, and explore how real-life experiences and creative writing techniques can be used to write effective and memorable memoir, autobiography and biography. Participants can bring draft auto/biography, but we will focus mainly on life-writing exercises, with feedback and with tips galore. Participants will discover how much fun it is to write a life!
Josephine Taylor is a writer and freelance editor from Perth, where she holds the following positions: Associate Editor, Westerly Magazine (UWA); Adjunct Senior Lecturer, Edith Cowan University; and editorial board member, Margaret River Press. Her published work includes short forms of fiction and life-writing, and she is currently working on a book-length manuscript. Josephine teaches in the areas of creative writing, editing and Australian fiction. Her workshops are informative, vibrant and fun.
