Do you love writing but are uncertain how to ready your work for competitions or publication? Have you written some pieces but lack the confidence to submit them? Through information, practice tips and editing activities, this workshop will focus on how to prepare your writing for competitions and publication. Participants will gain confidence in their editing skills and discover how satisfying and enjoyable it is to draft and edit.
Josephine Taylor is a writer from Perth, where she holds the following positions: associate editor, Westerly magazine (UWA); adjunct lecturer, Edith Cowan University; and editorial board member, Margaret River Press. Her published work includes short forms of fiction and life-writing, and she is currently writing a novel. Josephine teaches in the areas of creative writing, editing and Australian fiction. Her workshops are informative, vibrant and fun.
