Entries are now open for the inaugural 2012 Glen Phillips' Poetry Prize. Closing Date: 31 August 2012
The Peter Cowan Writers Centre Inc. is pleased to announce the inaugural 2012 Glen Phillips' Poetry Prize .
The Glen Phillips' Poetry Prize has been established in recognition of Professor Glen Phillips; a Life Member at our centre, our Edith Cowan University Liaison, PCWC Committee Member and a longstanding supporter of the Peter Cowan Writers' Centre Inc. Glen's poetry has been widely published in anthologies, journals and newspapers throughout Australia and internationally. Poets are now invited to submit their entries for this competition.
The competition has an open theme with up to 50 lines of poetry allowed per entry. Entrants must be Australian residents and may submit up to five poems in the competition.
Entries must be unpublished works, not on offer for publication before the announcement of the prize winners, and not have been recognised in any other competition*.
